Germany has successfully convinced me of the deliciousness of Marzipan.
In my defence, basically all Marzipan I encountered before moving here was wrapped in mediocre chocolate and I think that just hides the flavours I enjoy.

@erincandescent Hmmm in 12 years of living here I have still never had German marzipan because I assumed I would dislike it like marzipan in the UK … maybe time to give it a go
@dpk It’s (according to supermarkets) Christmas, Marzipan Kartoffeln are everywhere
